The WheelhouseVisitBritain has graded this accomodation with its Four Diamonds rating.
A luxury studio suite adjoining The Old Coach House, a stone built period property situated in the idyllic rural hamlet of Bloxholm. With views onto the medieval church and surrounded by parkland containing many species of mature trees and wildlife it is an oasis of peace and tranquility.
The Wheelhouse is furnished to a high standard with antique brass bedstead, beamed ceilings and the advantage of its own private entrance. An en suite shower room leads off the double bedroom which is accessed via a quirky sprial staircase. Another quirk of The Wheelhouse is that luggage is hoisted to the bedroom on a specially constructed pulley system. Downstairs is a private lounge with TV, drinks chiller and tea & coffee making facilities. Internet connection is available upon request. Breakfast can
be served in The Wheelhouse or in The Old Coach House and consists
of home made bread, preserves and locally sourced produce. A very
special place in a very special location where a warm welcome always
